My mother and I stayed here in February over a weekend. The hotel itself is situated near Loch Leven and with easy access to stunning walks from Glencoe, but also quieter forestry tracks. The rooms were comfortable and well equipped, we loved the hotel's character and creaky staircase, and the Fish restaurant in particular was wonderful (the mussels in white wine were a standout). I wanted to mention Liam in particular, who looked after my mother after she had a nasty accident on the second day of our stay and while I was away, and kept making sure she was alright throughout the day. I can't thank you enough.

Lovely hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. Buffet breakfast was excellent with a wide range of choices to suit all tastes. Location is good too with Oban, Fort William and Glencoe easily reachable. Lovely views too. Had a lovely surprise at dinner on my birthday too which was a nice touch. Thank you.

What a lovely stay for our anniversary, rooms cleaned and fresh bedding and towels daily. The food was amazing, especially the seafood (mussels are fabulous) and locally sourced. The staff were very friendly and helpful and Lucas the manager was by the far the best. So friendly and very good customer service. Would highly recommend and will be back. Thank you again for a wonderful stay.

What a lovely hotel. Fabulous location. Our feature room was huge and so comfy, overlooking the loch and the bridge. Loved the William Morris wallpapers everywhere. Enjoyed sitting in the lounge by the woodburning stove. Staff were all excellent, very friendly and helpful. One of the men in the bar is extremely knowledgeable about whisky (and other alcohols) and happy to answer questions. Restaurant looks out over stunning loch and mountain scenery. The food is somewhat overpriced I think but was very tasty so not too much of a downside. The breakfast was very nice and plenty of choice.Thank you Ballachulish Hotel

We stayed for one night and really enjoyed our stay. The room was comfortable, and the included breakfast was a nice surprise- the food was great, and the view from the restaurant is amazing. The lobby has a gorgeous, huge sitting room with fireplaces we liked as well. We’ll be coming back!

What a terrific hotel. Stayed here for their Christmas package and had a fantastic time. The food is amazing, enjoyed the breakfast and the dinner. Not a complaint, however, the rooms are a little smaller, than some other places. This though was not a huge problem and the rooms are clean and comfortable. Id recommend this place any time. Oh and the view from the hotel!!

The breakfast was super delicious, the location is great and a beautiful view near the lake. The staff are very friendly and bed linen and towels as well as the room were super clean. They should just renovate the bathroom because it get all wet after the shower. There were also a lot of noise from upstairs when someone was walking in the room.
